About Erik Stark

“You have to have crashed many times in order to create a sense of where the line goes. It is what separates good racing driver from less good ones. I have crashed more times in the Formula 2 than anyone can keep track of”

Erik Stark is the 31 year old rising star from Stockholm.

Erik began his racing career in 2000, 12 years old. Since then he has literally had a racing start and raced through his career beginning in the Junior class S250 and then through the T400 , F4 -S , F2, Thunder Cat , Offshore 3C ,  X -cat and ClassOne .

In 2009, Erik was elected “Rookie of the Year”. He put his opponents in respect through his tough duels and violent crashes and was thus nicknamed ” the young maverick”. A well-deserved title as he in the World Cup series 2010 did not finish a race all the way. The following year Team Erik Stark showed that they were a force to be reckoned with, and in 2011 the team took home their first World Championship title in F2, and continue that 2012, 2013 and 2014

Good starts, a reliable team and a strong mind is the secret of success according to Erik. “There is not anyone who can manage to keep a cool head in such fast speeds and under the pressures that the competition provides. ”

Today Erik and the team put down all their energy in F1 where Erik runs for the Dubai based Victory Team. The goals for 2019 season is to try to claim Eriks , Sweden and Victory Teams first World Championship in F1. Erik has a reputation for being fearless and never give up even though it is crowded on the track, a reputation that will hopefully take him to the top even in Formula 1.
